Pécharmant

« Un orchestre harmonieux d’épices »

A beautiful deep ruby colour with violet hues. The nose is intense, with aromas of red fruit, blackberry and blackcurrant, mingling with spicy, lightly peppery notes. On the palate, this is a wine of real texture, offering lovely freshness along with supple, rounded tannins. A well-balanced, moreish wine that will age gracefully for up to ten years. Served at 17–18°C, it pairs ideally with roast meats, beef cuts, duck or goose confit, duck breast, game, strong cheeses, and even chocolate cake. A versatile wine for any number of occasions.

Vinification

A gentle maceration lasting 20 to 30 days. Aged in concrete vats, egg-shaped tanks, foudres and old barrels. The final blend is assembled after 12 months of ageing, then left to rest for an additional winter in concrete. Bottled without fining or filtration.
